Today is St Patricks day, I am "smoking" a corn beef briscuit while home working but I have to check it every twenty minutes to see if any smoke is coming out or if it threw 10 more ERR codes and shutdown. This garbage now has to get thrown back into my SUV, all 116 lbs of it including the grease and ashes from my chicken. I said whatever and set timer for 3 hours to turn off, I come back about 2.5 hours later and big old ERR code again, no dinner, just ate corn. temp set to 250 actual temp just rose and rose to 347 and I tried everything to bring it down. ERR code, reset, try again, prime the thing, get smoke, ERL code, unplug try again, seems to be working 1 hour later but now smoke is almost non existent if at all. Followed directions, set the temp to 250, got initial smoke and then all hell broke loose. That is it, the smoker looks solid but the cover has at least 1/4th inch gap that would need to be fixed.
Assembly is easy and there is a video on utube. I have been in the market for a pellet smoker for ease of use and this requires more time and energy than my wood smoker. Easiest marketing scam especially given Walmarts $$$ power.
#EXPERT GRILL WALMART FOR FREE#
A charcoal basket helps if you're using lump coal to hold the smaller pieces that may fall through the grill fire grate.DO NOT BUY THIS !! Walmart tricked me, the majority 5 star reviews are people that got the grill for free and in return they leave positive views. I have a coleman charcoal basket from Can.Tire that works in my Weber Jumbo Joe and Backyard Grill 14.5inch kettle grill tho on the smaller grill I use it for one side only.
#EXPERT GRILL WALMART MOD#
Or you can also buy a vent lid part online and do that mod or if you're lucky you might find a side of the curb or kijiji old BBQ find that you can take a part off of.Īlso consider getting a charcoal basket. You can also mod it for more airflow by taking a large fruit can and if you have a side cutting can opener you can take the lid off and get a nut and screw and screw that to the bottom of the BBQ then drill out some <| wedges for airflow.
